Saturday, September 29th, 2007, KAOS Radio 90.5 was proud to be involved in the "Voices of Youth" celebration that took place at The Youth Emergency Shelter on Brock St., Peterborough. A large mural was unveiled on the east side of the Y.E.S. building, (see pic), and was the talk of the town. Many different youth participated in painting the mural and subsequently, many different perspectives are obvious. Go there and check it out for yourself. It’s for the people, by the people. Very cool indeed. Several different local talents performed on the day and a great time was had by all. Thank you Mr. sunshine, Y.E.S. and of course, Micky Renders, (a dedicated art teacher at T.A.S.), who put the whole event together... Bravo Micky!
