BURNFEST |
2008-06-09 |
|
This is a 3 day festival that takes place in Manotick - just outside of Ottawa, Ontario. Over the course of the 3 days this year Burnfest have concerts, motivational speaking, workshops, sports, bonfires, movies on the big screen, a battle of the bands, swimming, camping and much more!! It’s a great opportunity to get away from everything and relax with some old friends or make new ones! This year they are very excited to have award winning Canadian act Rides Again coming back as the headlining band. Joining them in the main concert will be After The Anthems and Kiros. Local act Benefit Of A Doubt will also be performing this weekend. BurnFest 2008 promises to be the biggest and best yet with a bigger and better lineup than ever, and a greater volunteer base all combining to help us raise the bar! They would love to have you come out for a show, an afternoon or evening, a whole day or the entire event! They do offer camping facilities with showers and toilets included in the price of admission for the whole weekend. For meals there will be food for sale from our kitchen or from a variety of vendors who will be on site as well. You also have the option of bringing a bbq or camping stove and doing your own cooking if you so desire. The cost for this year’s BurnFest is $65 which includes admission to all events/concerts/sessions/activities as well as camping. Food is NOT included in the admission price this year. After June 30th, the price goes up to $85. If you have any questions, or would like more information, please feel free to contact Joseph Hartgerink at joe@thecalled.ca or Andrea Lamont at andrealamont@gmail.com. Also please check out the official website at www.burnfest.ca. |
